Everyone is up early but we’re in no hurry. Normaly pack down would take 2 hours with all the toys (boats, engines, scuba gear etc) but this time we don’t have any of that. I towed it all back from Perth to Melbourne last time because I was seriously over weight and didn’t want to get stuck at a mobile weigh station on the Nullarbor. We slowly re familiarise our selves with Daisy and pack down in half an hour. Wow. No fighting at all! That was easy.
10am were on the road. Towing with the new defender is so easy it’s not stressful at all. 1st leg our our WA south Coast adventure is only 3 hours so we stop for an early lunch in Bunbury. All these coast towns are realy clean with great beach amenities. Great playgrounds and heaps of shade even on the sandy beach’s.
We get to Gracetown caravan park around 3pm. This place is perfect for the kids. Free mini golf, basketball, tennis, bounce pad and a daily waterslide if its over 25degrees. We head to our bush block and back in to settle down for 1 week in Margaret river. Instantly relaxed.
