Struggling with my blog. There is no phone 3 or 4G reception anywhere near the caravan park.
It’s rained all night but has stop just after breakfast so Leo and I go to retrieve the poddy traps. I cant find them anywhere! Couldnt have been stolen as I put one out in the middle of the inlet out of sight. There was zero water flow as the entrance is currently closed however when I’m at IGA later this morning a local tells me the inlet blew open in high seas last night and to look for them more down river then up. Ill come back and snorkel for them later
We stop.at IGA for picnic supplies. This one never stops surprising me. Today I find a live oyster fridge.
We hit the road in the rain hoping it will ease up by the time we get to the valley. We arrive and to our pleasure the rain stops so we hit the hike fast . Before long it rains again so we head back to the car for lunch. Then it stops raining and we do the tree tops and ancient forest again. These trees are truly amazing some are 5 meters wide at the base, 70 meters tall and over 400 years old.
On the way back we stop at a leather works and splash out on beanies and boots again.
Then we head for greens pool and elephant rock. Its literally pouring now so back to the car we go. There’s a break so I do a quick fly around with the drone. Were definitely comming back here for a swim when the Wether fines out.
Pizza and some work on the mezzanine and I’m out.
