Move over. I feel like He Man! That sap detox hurt but it seriously works.
We do another session at the wave and I take Leo to the toy soldier museum while Tan and Jett do a lap of wave rock. It’s just like Ularu but on a much smaller scale with a wave erosion to one side. Pretty cool.
The toy museum has part of the original rabbit proof fence. The collection has over 10,000 toy soldiers, part of the original school house and many other random antiques like a 1910 ford model T.
The road to Esperance is full of road works with 15 to 20 minute Waite’s. NATURALLY He Man is pumped so I’m pushing 110 with the van on the back no worries.
We stop for lunch in Ravensthorpe. Everything’s shut except for the massive IGA and a lollie shop so we hit both of them. This place serves as a hub for a lot of the mining which explains its size.
We arrive in Esperance at 4.15pm. There’s been a mix up with our booking and it’s only 3 nights! I extend but might have to move spots durring the week which sux however Sharon the lady that helps everyone back there van in manages to shift arrivals around so we can stay put. BATHERS PARADISE is a small and quaint little caravan park in a residential area 1 street from the water front. It’s clean and neat with fresh grass and the toilets have the radio playing with fresh flowers daily!
