I did want to go back to lucky Bay but we stick to the plan and head to Twilight Beach. We discovered this Beach when we did the 11 mile stretch earlier this week and have been hearing people talk about it so we better not miss out. FOMO kicks in. Pack a picnic lunch and were off.
Another beautiful Esperance beach. It’s hard to choose there all so beautiful. We set up and hit the waves. One of jetts mates from the caravan park.shows up so we invite them to hang with us.
I decide to swim out to the rock island and try to get into the cave. I get washed off trying to pull myself up and cut my leg. Blood in the water, quick! I climb to the top. It’s amazing. I give the cave climb a miss. It’s a sheer face of rock that’s smooth. If I take a dive there won’t be any driving tomorrow!
There is a wedding on the beach and jett takes us all to a cave he has found. More of a stack of rocks but well.worth the climb.
We get back and start to pack up. I check out someone’s pull out kitchen which I’m thinking of adding to our vans tunnel boot. The BBQ set up and set down does determine where we stop. Haven’t done enough free camping due to our massive set up time and effort so I’m going to make some up grades when I get Daisy home to Melbourne.
More chines take out for dinner and we have an early night. Best spring rolls I’ve ever had!
