September 2022

• I go to see Jett play his second game of water polo at Scotch. Wow what a campus.
• I take Tanya to the MCG to see the Collingwood V Geelong game. There are 91,525 people and we loose by 6 points.

FATHERS DAY

• Fathers day and I get Breakfast in bed followed by a visit to see Yea Yea in hospital and Denise at his place with Mimi. Jett makes Tuna sashimi. Denise shows off his zipper. We then pick up Nanny and head out to secrete kitchen for a finale dinner. There is a special on lobster, so we go all out. Jett smashes the Lobster, and we all have a feast to remember. Thank you everyone. Best father’s day yet!

• Tanya and I take the boat back for more work at Moose Marine and we get a hot tip for a pub down by Patterson Lakes called ‘the cove’.
• Gonio rooms gets the joins plastered by Evan and were ready for sanding and Paint.
• Brendan security video just dropping into DARKON after a night on the piss at the IES awards NSW.
• Tiffany’s make safe after an over tightened glass pendant drops just before opening. 11 years after installation!
• Jett continues with REP TRIALS

SYDNEY AGAIN

• Matt and I travel to Sydney again for presentations and I continue with the QVB preparation with Rick and Boom Boom Bobby (as Vicinity cancel last minute!). I turn a site meeting into an impromptu lunch at Machiavelli. I love that place. Meeting at Fare East with the lost finger brothers Zac and  ??? Rick gifts me a piece of 1 Martin place sandstone and I help him with his KKDC problem.

• Queen Elizabeth the 2^nd dies age 94.
• Mask laws are dropped for air travel on our way home!
• Jett gets sent home from school for making self-harm comments. I have to go to Austin Health emergency for an assessment. We wait 6 hours with a ‘not a risk’ conclusion.
• Australia mourns the Queen and has a national day of mourning public holiday back to back with the Grand final holiday creating a one off 4 day long weekend.
• We enjoy Nannys 75^th birthday with Belinda and Clayton back at Secrete kitchen less than a week after fathers day.
• I make femo clay models of the SOLID STONE bollard I want to make with Rick.
• Jett and I watch Collingwood beat the dockers and secure a preliminary final against Sydney in Sydney.
• Jett plays his last game of soccer for the yarra jets.
• I create the 2^nd episode of the DARKON comic trip in 1 day and chew and ??? make it happen in 3 days before its due. OPPS.
• Darkon completes the final day of the positive leadership course.

SYDNEY AGAIN AGAIN

• I fly to Sydney again to give the BIG QVB PRESENTATION. I find a really cool sneaker shop and enquire about Jetts favourite shoes, Air Jordan #4 – Oreos. There $1300 a pair!

Wednesday the 14^th

• Fly into Sydney arriving at 9:30am and picked up by Michelle      
• Go to office and set up Lumascape samples
• Lunch with (shhh!) (currently working for Shhh!)
• Back to office to do a trial run of the presentation.
• Head into the City for an early dinner at Wood Cut.
• Dinner meeting with Blocka – Steve Roach , Rick Timperi, Zac, Prasad
• We discuss working with councils and getting the new stone bollard off the ground.

Thursday the 15^th

• Michelle stays in hotel across the road from the QT. we meet at 8am and head for the office to get the samples
• Zac and Dean hit the road and meet Boom Boom Bobby at QVB. He empties a trolly and we wheel everything around the corner to the Strand Arcade where Vicinity offices are.
• 10am presentation too: ?????
• ?????????????
• Meeting is a huge success and the powers to be head straight into another meeting to discuss finances.
• Lunch with Rick and Boom Boom at my favourite restaurant Machiavelli
• We then head to 1 Martin Place. We sign in and go for a tour with Rick. We climb out a ladder and onto the roof then head across to the clock tower. I document all the lights that need replacing.
• Head back to the office to grab what I need
• Then fly back to Melbourne on the  5pm flight.

• Leo dresses in Collingwood colours for ???? day
• I pick up the boat with the new floor installed and Yatchsense which is only about half of my order and we all head off to Nungurner for the school holidays.
• Nick Burnham and the kids join us and we have JT and the Radfords over for a Feast.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS SKIING AT DINNER PLAIN

It snowed all day Sunday and into Monday when we arrive at Dinner Plain to stay at High Knob. There is so much fresh snow were in for a treat.  We have 3 amazing days of prefect conditions however there are no ski instructors due to COVID staff shortage and end of season so Nick and I take up Snowboarding (Dean, Jett and Oscar) and Skiing (Nick, Hazel and Leo)  as instructors. We enjoy great food and wine dining in and out. We also watch the biggest funeral in world history! RIP Q.E.2.

• Back to Nungurner for the last week of school holidays and I get the boat in for Nick Burnham to experience. Dolphins, fishing, river cruising the lot!
• We watch the semi final Collingwood V Sydney and we loose by 1 point in the last minuet. SAD.
• Adam drives my car up so Tanya can leave early with Hugo and Leo. Adam nearly blows us all up lighting the bonfire and gets the petrol tank on fire too. So luck the lid was on.
• Justin and Patrick join us for camping however Justin has a large case on and can only make 2 nights, so we cancel Bunga Arm again. We have some jam sessions on the Guild guitar, Hammond organ and the purple drum kit. Natural I introduce the memory man pedal into the mix and record some awesome tracks. Absolutely loved it.
• The hot water unit lows up and the new boat takes on water.
• Dinner with MiMi and Denise before she heads back to Japan.
