- Hugo’s 1st Birthday (3rd of November 2022) and PHO lunch
- Set up rare 1980’s Yamaha custom recording drum kit on the new stage at Darkon.
- Dinner at Secret Kitchen for HUGO’s 1st birthday. Were told Lobster noddles (for long life) is not for babies!!! (Thursday the 3rd)
- Quarterly BBQ at DARKON. Love the new stage Radford! John the Irishman hits the microphone and sings for 3 hours. Dean on Drums, Paul on the keys and Zevon on the guitar.
- Hugo’s birthday cake at the cousins house.
- Finish tidying up the backyard in time for summer and replant the veggie patch and we start having BBQ dinners outside.
- Family professional Photos. WOW!
- Jetts Violin concert at CGS. Violin teacher rates him and encourages him to keep playing next year.
- Dean and Paul finalise buy sell
- Radford and I get 2 straight days on the Mezz build and smash up heaps of plaster.
- Hugo has found a new game. Throwing things out the doggy door including the TV remote!
- Emma Kain’s funeral. So Sad. Died age 43 to breast cancer. Fought it off for 2 years and told no one! I Meet a young builder Phil who’s an east Gippsland boy that wants to go out on his own. I say ‘come help me with the build at DARKON’ . he agrees.
- I buy some trees for Nungurner and send Pauly down for a weekend.
- Nichole Alan comes down from Sydney with Jennifer looking at Universities and we go for dinner and a show about Evonne Goolagong Cawley the 1st female aboriginal tennis star to win multiple grand slams. Its Called sunshine super girl. Very cool.
- Jett starts playing Cricket for CGS.
- HEPA zoom meeting.
- Andre gives me 4 days notice before he shows up and needs to store a rare split screen combi van and caravan at Waterloo. We go into over drive cleaning and culling. Sell old pan break, take 3 tons of timber over to Broady and do a massive clean out. It nearly kills me a throughs a full spanner in the build works over at Darkon. We get it done and Im wrapped. It’s a cool local man cave now.
- I meet an old school dude that deals in 2nd hand machinery. Might need his help with a rolling machine.
- The COMBI arrives late, but we get her in. She’s a beauty.
- 2nd episode of ‘blinded’ comes out in print. Barrell Boy.
- I Show the fam the new man cave and the combi. They love it.
- I go to a fundraiser lunch for sick kids with the old schoolboys. Al, Jazz, Leigh Ramsey , Fizza, PK and Matty. I meet Brian Lara. He still has the top score of 501 test runs. We get lit up an end up back at the new man cave in Collingwood. There’s no sound system so we end up having a party on the Range Rover parked out the from. That Meridien system rocks, and so does the nasal spray!
- I leave my phone in the cab after the fund raiser and use find my phone to go get it in the morning of the Clifton Hill School Fair. Lucky the CAB has a business card on the dash with the dudes phone number.
- Adam has COVID so we deliver him food. Then I install some lights and modify joinery for our neighbours (Mark and Del)
- I go pick up the boat from the trimmers in torrential Hail and Rain. Next day I open it up and find more damage. Mosse is sacked!
- THE STATE OF VOCTORIA FLOODS
- I have another party night at the new man cave with Huge Van Essen and Paul before I have to get up at 4am and catch a flight to Sydney the next morning. OOOOOF.
- Get to Sydney and have lunch with Rick.
- DARKON hosts an IES even with Professor Fred Watson AM.
- As soon as I touch down we hit some German School fair for sausage. Is packed!
- We pack and hit the road early the next morning for a long weekend in Nungurner. A much needed family break from the CITY madness. A neighbours tree looses a branch and nearly squashes JT working on the orchard.
- Victoria votes Dan Andrews in AGAIN. We haven’t learnt anything have we!
- Hugo watches Jett and learns how to play basketball and I teach him some drums.
- We check out the new Metung Hot Springs at 10am on Monday. We have the place to ourselves. Its so relaxing.
- I have a day with the boys while Tanya gets some stuff done. We have a ball.
- We go to Wonderland RV and do our BUILD SPECS for the new caravan.
