DAY 08 – Sat 24th June / Movie World + Wet n WIld
- We get to movie world before it opens so we can run to the Jocker hyper ride. Were about 20 people from the front and they tell us its brocken! we make a run for Superman instead and have to wait 45 minuets! Were pissed off so we decide to have an early lunch then hit wet n wild.
- The park has never been so quiet according to the staff. Not a single wait for any slide. We smash 30+ waterslids in 2.5 hours then head back to the van.
- We sit by the pool for a bit then start cooking.
- Im still super in love with my outdoor kitchen and ask nanny to sire fry her famouse fried rice for the kids.
- I realise we have all been forcing the dishwasher open durring wash cycles and figuer out you need to knock twice to turn it off before opening.
DAY 09 – Sun 25th June / Lunch with LAD
- Trying to have coffee in bed with Hugo is chalenging
- dipping eggs for breakfast
- Its finaly time for Tan and I to have a break from the kids with Nanny Phillips playing baby siter.
- We have lunch with Rob and Simon our QLD agents.
- I cook a beef eye fillet stri fry for Dinner. FAIL! im out of practice.
DAY 10 – Mon 26th June / Bye Bye Nanny Phillips + Shopping
- I set the 2nd TV up outside for the kids.
- Quick play in the park before we take Nanny to the airport.
- Drop Nanny off (we miss you already xxx)
- Swing past the mall for clothing supplies (jett packed no T shorts!)
- Factory fire near by
- I blow up a cheap inflatable boat and use the external hot tap and hose to fill it up as an outdoor batch for the boys to soak in.
DAY 11 – Tue 27th June / Movie Land Again
- This time Leo and i are almost 1st in line and we make the 1st trip on the JOKER hyper rail ride.
- Leo does pizza making back at the CP
- I try the replacement Starlink cable sent to LAD and it works! what a shame. Wounderland have damaged the cable i had pre installed.
- I do Karage Chicken for dinner.
DAY 12 – Wed 28th June / Gold Coast to Maroochydore
- On the way to Maroochydore i spot a sign to Australia Zoo. Tanya loves Zoo’s so we make an unplanned stop.
- We watch the Crock feeding and check out some reptiles then hit the road again.
- We have arrived at the CP 1 day early than our booking and have to move sites in the morning.
DAY 13 – Thu 29th June / CP time
- Supply run
- Found some interesting awnings
- Tried fishing under the bridge in town. Saw a Sea plane cruise under the bridge then take off. Kid rides past me with Custom Rod holder mount on his push bike.
- Booked a Fishing Charter for tomorrow.
DAY 14 – Fri 30th June / Fishing Charter Noosa
- Jetts still got the shits and doesnt want to come fishing so i drag him out of bed.
- We have Macas for breafast then hit the boat
- Cool luer holders!
- Jett Catches the 1st fish, a Pearl Perch and its a keeper.
- Jett takes a snooze while a whale swims past and we hand feed a dolphin
- I switch to live bait a snare a big coral trout
- Then i take the last like pike which is huge. I drop him down 4 times at differant spots then BOOM. sothing big smashes it. I manage to land a 1.1mtr long 35kg Gold Spotted Estry Cod. Wow its my record fish. im stocked.
- We head over to a FAD fish attracting device and hook a tuna. The guy nearly falls in but a save him by the feet, he wont let go of the rod.
- The Cod is so Big i cant take it all so share it with everyone else onboard.
- What a day. record fish and best fishing charter ever. LOVED IT.
