  • Straight back to work and the stress levels peak which triggers the rashes and swelling again.
  • Lunch at Rockpool with Haydey group from Sydney 
  • SUPERMOON
  • Leo goes on school camp.
  • Chewy brings his puppy Samoyed into work. Doesn’t go down well with Radford when we piss off to the pub and leave it in the office barking nonstop!
  • Date night with Tanya at a Spanish Tapas bar in Collingwood
  • Radford and I get cracking on the Ground Floor Mezzanine build again.  Were pushing to have the cleanroom finished by the end of the month for the DARKON quarterly BBQ.
  • Breakfast at CIBI with my cousin Nicole
  • Jett plays his last game of basketball for CGS and his 2 mates get in trouble for trying to distract a 3 point shootout that could loose them the game. it’s a draw! After the game I take Jett to look at scooters. I go to see Drew at Sandringham Yacht club on a beautiful day. He’s restoring the Huon pine boat with his dad.
  • I get right back into my Japanese cooking.
  • work from home day with the fire going. So GOOD. then I set up a cot downstairs so we can try and get HUGO into a sleep routine. right now, he still wakes up 3 times a night and his internal alarm clock goes off at 5am!
  • I have a brainstorming meeting with the DARKON board to map out the next 5 years!
  • I order new leather dining chairs. Can’t cope with the food stained fabric ones at home. YUK!
  • I order a shower screen for Keele St ground floor bathroom.
  • Geralds bar with NB
  • One Eyed willy drops by (Chris Mitchell) and we go to the Collingwood Geelong game. Collingwood win 109 to 101! Another great game.
  • Jett starts playing water polo. Then plays B Ball for Collingwood all stars and high scores with 17 points!
  • Jett goes on school CAMP at Yarra Junction (YJ). day 1 = YJ cup, day 2= bike riding, day 3 = ?, day 4,5,6 expo hike, day 7 Jett gets the boot for swearing and trashing a room. Tanya writes a letter followed by Jett and hes the 1st ever student to get accepted back into camp. Tanya drives back to YJ and drops him off for the last night. Im away in Sydney on sales with Matty so its been challenging for Tan.
  • Back to reality. My Zig Zag louver looks awesome. efficiency FAIL. only 30 lumens per watt!
  • Drop Dock Tease off for its 100-hour service.
  • Book a measure up with Bobby from Honk Kong for new shirts. Going back to Double collar, Double cuffs and double buttons.
  • Off to Sydney again.  I send Jamie to a bronze foundry I’ve found for an EL job. Were doing a Lumascape focused sales trip.  Straight to Machiavelli. Shoe cleaning, Machiavelli again.
  • Tan and I head to the footy with Westpac in a private BOX. Collingwood thump Essendon.
  • Back to Nungurner for JTs 40th (now 42nd due to Covid), 1 night return!. There’s a new boat moored out the front. Within a week everything has bloomed. Lock myself out in the morning and have to climb in over the balcony and use a stick in the doggy door to get in. I get a call from Tanya….. Leo has a head injury with a brick from a wall falling on his head and cop abuse for not being home. he goes to hospital, category 1, seen straight away, glue to the wound then home. Tan has a McDonalds miss hap (roof rack write off)
  • Monday morning and I’ve got Declan on the door s step at 7am ready for his 1 week of work experience.
  • Dom and I go and buy a smoker for DARKON as a thankyou to everyone for hitting budget 2 months in a row. I join Costco’s as this is the only place to get large cheap cuts of brisket.
  • My Neighbour in Broadie sells his land for $3.7m!
  • We do a trail run on the smoker with 3 rubs
  • I cop a flat tyre from some building material dropped on Sydney Road on the way home with Declan.  He gets a lesson in how to change a tyre.
  • We hold the DARKON quarterly BBQ. I tell the team were pushing for ISO9001 qualification and thank them for letting me relax on the family caravan trip. What a great month. back to warp speed 7!!!!!!!
