Lincoln flat battery / NOT a great start to Daddy Day with me boys (Hugo and Leo)
- We settle on Chamouni a day late and Judo get penalized $2k, all while I’m giving a presentation to AECOM. Time to renovate before we move in!
- Adam gets cracking on the floors and Tan and I decide to paint the master bedroom. I think ill need some colour tips from Conrad @ Black Milk.
- Bathroom joinery arrives back from the stone masons for Keele reno.
- IKEA run for Hugo and Leos new wardrobes.
I investigate the chimney ready for the new Kanara. I think this is out of my league and hire pro’s to put it in.
- FLOORS look amazing. Thank you, Adam.
- I start the electrical work with Radford as soon as the floors are finished. Its difficult running new GPO’s in an old Circa 1890’s house.
- Luke drops into the check out the new pad.
- We start installing lights. I make a few errors cutting the old Lath & plaster . I’ve over cooked the WYN on EDGE for the wardrobe and send it back to DARKON. opps.
- Whole house is set up with CASAMBI Tuneable White LED so I can trial circadian rhythm lighting and Bluetooth controls.
- I set up a home office as fast as possible. It’s HEAVEN!
- We move the original round couch from DARKON so it can be swapped out with the new replacement. The Den looks amazing. This is truly HOME, I don’t want to leave this room!.
- Hugo and Leo go to the upside-down house in the docklands then back to Chamouni to help with the BIG MOVE.
- Hugo helps me with the IKEA build.
- Jett does Basketball training with Jalen.
- Ashton gets engaged.
- New lighting is taking shape at Chamouni. I like CASAMBI.
- I go to See Conrad for paint colour selection.
- Conrads’s apartment looks amazing.
- I start prepping for Jun the painter.
- I get the fireplace installed.
- Painting comes up a treat. Great colours. Getting close to moving in permanently.
- The new couches, table (faulty) and chairs arrive from KING LIVING. The guy offers me his removal service and Tanya convinces me to hire him tomorrow to finish the bulk of KEELE ST. Clever idea Tanya.
- The guys don’t have instructions to take back the 2 old couches, so we score. Pauly takes the old L couch and DARKON gets the round couch back.
- I reminisce at Keele ST. so tired.
- Jett has his mates over straight away. I rock the new fireplace and get on the BBQ. I cook the power lifting removalists Chicken ribs from Jonathan’s. Drew shows up. My only mate that offers to help the day of the move. Thank you, buddy. RESPECT, and thank God for these removalists!
- Next night straight into dinner party mode. Denis, Mimi, Tammy and Luke with all the kids for our 1st Chamouni event. I rock the fire again and almost melt the TV!
- I decide to set up the JBL’s.
- Back to IKEA for a desk for Jett.
- All lights, downlights and up- light ONLY. Loving my new lighting system.
- Were tripping circuits. More re wiring under the house required. Hot water runs out in the morning after 1 shower. Its set to tight ass heat only when the suns out.
- I bust Tanya getting a foot massage.
- Emrah HEPER and Can in town so we take them out with some clients down for QLD (Ric and Ricky). Stoke house turns it on. I get FAT FACE and have to run off to the chemist for antihistamines, then it starts pouring rain.
- Presentations while Matty and i give each other FRESH SHIT.
