2am – Tennant creek BP for the Bus drivers 1 hour rest.
3am – Alice or bust
7.30am – Aileron road house for a $5 instant coffee
9.15am – Arrive into Alice and jump a cab to the airport. Slightly worried about the dust storm moving in. The show must go on.
11.20am – Qantas QF797 to Melbourne.
4.30pm – Touch down Melbourne
5.30pm – ULR Range Rover to pick up a brand-new Sport HSE Dynamic SDV6 with a few extras. Had the lads wire in a break controller, 12pin trailer plug and Anderson plug on the same day or the deal was off! No time for dealer delivery. Get out I’m off.
6.30pm – Trick or treating back in Collingwood
8pm – dinner at our favourite Japanese BBQ tetsujin at Myer emporium.
10pm – catch up on lost sleep.
